Dear All,
Are you interested in enjoying the beautiful sunshine of the late autumn before winter? Do you wish to enjoy fresh air before staying inside the air-conditioned building in winter? More importantly, do you want to catch up with your fellow alumni?
In order to further strengthen the friendship among Xiada Alumni in Melbourne, a friendly picnic will be held, details are as follows;

Please bring your family along, and bring your own lunch. Soft drink will be provided. There is BBQ facility available there if you prefer hot sizzling BBQ.
It is Mother’s day on that day. A special cake will be provided to celebrate the great motherhood. We have more female members than male counterparts in our association, and majority of them are mothers.
You can walk along the lake. It is about 6.8km for a round trip. There is a bicycle track; please take a bike with you if you are a cycling enthusiast. If you are brave enough to combat the cold, you can have a dip in the lake, and enjoy swimming in icy water.
In addition, there is Miniature Railway Park nearby (Melway 108G4). Your kids will love it if you take them for a mini-train ride for $4.50/each. There is also a Buddhist temple nearby, which might be worth visiting.
For most of us, the best way to get there is to turn left to Heatherton Rd from Outbound Monash freeway (Melway 90J3), then turn left to Belgrave-Hallam Rd (Melway 108F6), turn left again to Horswood Rd(Melway 108G2), and you are on your way. After you pass the gate of the park, turn left, and drive to the end of the parking. We will be there. See you there!
